Białystok, with a population of almost 300 000, is a city located in north-eastern Poland, serving the function of the capital of Podlaskie province. It is the administrative, economic, and academic centre of the region which, due to its exceptional environmental assets, has been termed the Green Lungs of Poland.

 

HOW TO GET TO BIAŁYSTOK? 

 

A shuttle bus from the airports in Warsaw (Okęcie and Modlin) will be organized for the participants of the Congress.

 

BY PLANE

The closest airports are Warsaw Chopin and Warsaw Modlin.

To get from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Białystok you may take a train or a direct bus (2.5 up to 3.5 hours).

To get from Warsaw Modlin, a smaller airport north of Warsaw, you may take direct shuttle bus: PLUS BUS, FLIX BUS, ŻAK  Express (up to 3.5 hours).

Train  BY TRAIN

PKP offers connections to Białystok from all major Polish cities but in the case of some connections you need to change trains in Warsaw; train timetables may be checked and tickets purchased online at the PKP website
