Associate Professor in the Department of Temporomandibular Disorders, Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze, SUM Katowice, where she graduated Dentistry in 2004. In 2005 at the University of Management and Social Sciences she completed bachelor’s studies in Sociology of Health and Medicine. In 2009 doctoral degree in research of “Temporomandibular Disorders in patients with clinically diagnosed migraine”. Specialist in Prosthodontics since 2012 and Master of European Dental Implantology OSIS/EDI 2013. Vice President of Polish Dental Association, Silesian Region since 2019. Member of OSIS and PSI Associations.
President of Polish Association of Temporomandibular Disorders since 2021. Research activity focused in TMD and bruxism, digital implantoprosthetics, alternative methods for TMD treatment. As part of the activities of the Polish Association of TMD, doc. Aleksandra Nitecka-Buchta organizes numerous postgraduate training courses for dentists regarding TMD and dental prosthetics. Author of 75 publications and reviewer of articles in various national and international journals of her research expertise, lecturing in international and local conferences, scientific congresses. Editorial Board in Journal of Stomatology.
